　Tokyo Kasumiは調香師コウとアーティスト　エリカ・ワードの香り＋アートのコラボレーションプロジェクトです。
　調香師コウは東京の四季を表現する4種類のフレグランスのお香を作り上げ、エリカ・ワードはこれらのお香をインスピレーションに16作品の絵画を制作しました。
　巻絵や日本画で各シーンの移り変わりや遠近を分ける役割として描れる金色でフラットな雲のような「すやり霞」をモチーフに、本シリーズでは季節の花や東京の街から切り抜いたアーバンシーンを組み合わせています。
　Kasumiが東京の建築や花と混ざり合い、季節の移ろいとお香から立ち上る煙として表現されています。本シリーズはTokyo Kasumiお香パッケージデザインにも使用されており、ギャラリーでは原画作品とお香体験で視覚と臭覚で表現された東京の四季を体験できます。

Tokyo Kasumi is a collaboration art + fragrance project between artist Erica Ward and Japanese perfumer, Ko. Ko crafted four incense fragrances based on the four seasons in Tokyo and Erica Ward was inspired by these fragrances to create the illustrations for this series. Each illustration combines seasonal imagery with slices of Tokyo urban scenes. The illustrations in this series will be on display at this event, and also appear on the packaging for Tokyo Kasumi original incense, which will be available for purchase for the first time ever! You can enjoy four seasons of Tokyo visually and olfactorily at the gallery.
